Transforming Care in Warrington
DigiCare is a transformative well-being project launching in Warrington. Our mission is to support 29,000 households facing life and health challenges.
We provide a safe alternative to hands-on care, when appropriate. Along with an extra layer of personal safety. Our services include access to high-speed broadband and telecare/telemedicine support.
Technology-Enabled Care in the Community
The rollout of high-speed fibre broadband is a significant step forward. Allowing us to replace outdated systems with modern digital solutions.
Participants will have access to connected home devices. These will communicate with monitoring and telecare response services. All homes in the pilot will receive a fibre broadband connection with responsive support.
This gives fair and sustainable delivery of preventative healthcare and community-centred care. Laying the foundation for a new Neighbourhood Health Service, enabling innovative approaches to healthcare delivery.
